Welcome! We’re glad you’re here.
WS Strathfield has two English speaking congregations.
Strathfield 9am & 4:30pm are energetic, multi-cultural, cross-generational congregations excited about the gospel of Jesus Christ! We maintain a tradition of strong biblical teaching through our Sunday services as well as our associated ministries. Our congregation has a culture of being committed to growing, serving, and training in ministry. Although we are part of a Chinese church, our ministry is to people of all backgrounds.

Our Strathfield 9am and Strathfield 430pm Sunday services are now meeting back on site. Our 9am service will also have Sunday School available for primary school. Please find out more about our Covid guidelines and register to attend below:
For those who are unable to join us in person, join us via our live stream on our YouTube Channel. Also, check out our archive of sermon audios and online service videos on our Sermons page or on YouTube.
For those who are looking to explore Christianity or interested to learn more, we are currently holding Alpha Online. It’s a great place for anyone to explore, learn and ask those questions about life, faith and meaning – regardless of who you are. If you’re interested, please join us on Zoom on Sundays at 11am!
WS Strathfield also has small groups that are comprised of a mix of online and in-person meetings.

For parents with babies and toddlers there is a glass panelled soundproof cry room at the back of the hall where you are able to listen to and watch the service.
For toddlers who are happy to leave their parents, there is a crèche program downstairs.
For primary aged kids, we have excellent safe, fun and educational children’s programs running at the same time as our 9am service, where children can enjoy singing songs and exploring the Bible through teaching, craft and games. To join us for our Online Children’s Program click here.
Our High school-aged youth currently meet up on Friday nights at 7:30pm for the Glue youth group. They are also encouraged to take part in either of our strathfield 9am or 4:30pm Sunday services.

On the outside, Andrew looks like a regular north coast (Ballina!) surfie. But on the inside, Andrew is a nerdy academic – he loves to read and research. Now that he has finished a Master of Divinity (at Sydney Missionary and Bible College) and Master of Arts (Theology), he’s doing further study.
Andrew also has a BA and DipEd and was a high school visual arts teacher. He loves to use his creativity to come up with imaginative ways to explain God’s amazing message of freedom in the Bible.
Andrew is married to Krissie, and they have three young children.
Wayne is originally from Hong Kong, but spent much time moving between Australia, Canada, and the United States. Wayne and his new wife Veronica, who studied in Sydney, arrived at WSCCC in January 2020.
He studied theology at Wheaton College in the US and Regent College in Canada, and worked for churches in New York and Hong Kong before moving to Sydney. In his spare time, Wayne enjoys travelling, reading, watching basketball and anything jazz!
Dan works part-time as a youth pastor at WSCCC and part-time as a hospital pharmacist. He was born in Malaysia, and is fluent in English and Mandarin. He moved to Australia in high school and is a graduate of Sydney Missionary and Bible College. He is newly married to the lovely Kathryn.
Dan became a Christian when he was 14 years old at a youth camp. He received the calling to serve in ministry when God revealed to him that the harvests are plentiful but the workers are few (Matt 9:37-38). He is passionate about seeing more people coming to know Jesus!
Dan also enjoys a good bubble tea, badminton, catching up with friends, karaoke, Marvel movies and fishing. Hit Dan up if you’re also a keen fisherman like him!
At WS Strathfield, we have a heart to reach out to the world with God’s love and truth. Jesus calls his followers to be ‘salt’ and ‘light’ and be a positive influence in the world around us. Jesus calls his followers to love each other. Jesus also calls us to teach people God’s truth and help people grow as his followers. This means we care about people. We care about justice. We care about the needy – locally and abroad. We care about everyone, including children and youth having the opportunity to hear the truth about Jesus. And we seek to reach out both in our local communities and around the world. To read more, click here.
