Meet Jesus

We believe Jesus is central to human history.  God has sent Jesus into our world to offer us forgiveness of sins, life to the full now, resurrection from the dead, and eternal life.

We invite  you to come to our church and learn more about who Jesus is, and encounter him yourself.

Join Us Sunday

Social distancing hasn’t stopped us from meeting every Sunday. Please choose from a Sunday service below to learn more.

Every Sunday we gather together to sing worship songs and listen to some clear Bible teaching.

We hold church services in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Each service has its own unique feel, style and ministries. Our English services in particular welcome all people from all backgrounds and cultures who desire to grow in their walk with Jesus.

Who We Are

West Sydney Chinese Christian Church (WSCCC) is a non-denominational independent evangelical church of 800 adults and children spread across 7 services, conducted in 3 languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese), held in 2 locations in the inner western suburbs of Sydney.

We seek to maintain a tradition of strong biblical teaching through our Sunday services as well as our associated ministries. Though we are a Chinese church, our English ministry in particular is open to people of all backgrounds who long to know Jesus.

Children & Youth

Babies, Toddlers & Children

On Sunday mornings our kids teams run a variety of children’s programs (toddlers to 6th grade) so that they can enjoy learning about God in a safe, fun and caring environment.

Ask the welcomers at the door when you arrive and they’ll direct you to the appropriate program for your children.

We also hold mid-week playgroups for mothers to bring their toddlers and babies. Please choose a church location to find out more:

Responding to Coronavirus

There is worldwide concern about illness due to the infectious spread of coronavirus, originating in China. As a Chinese church, some of us, our family and friends, have travelled to and from China recently. Therefore we must comply with NSW Government guidelines to protect others and minimise the risk of spreading this disease. The symptoms of coronavirus are fever, cough and shortness of breath. Even if you do not have these symptoms, if you have recently returned from China (during the past 14 days), or  have come into contact with a recent returnee who has been unwell, we ask that you stay at home for 14 days and seek medical clearance if required. May we pray for healing for our world, and especially for families who have been affected.

Some points for prayer:

  • For God’s mercy and healing upon the world.
  • For healing and peace in families affected by the illness, families now stuck in Wuhan, and all who have become anxious about the outbreak.
  • For the medical teams and scientists treating patients and working on vaccinations.
  • For the wisdom of governments in their responses, including China and Australia.
  • For our own church members’ spiritual strength through this trial. Pray that they show love to one another, and not fear about continuing to meet together as a church.
