Bulletin Announcements – 10 June 2012

  1. Welcome to Missions month. Our theme this year is “Messing up Missions!”. We look forward to learning how (not) to do that. Today Rev. Ariel Kurilowicz will be the speaker. Over the course of this month we pray we would become more convinced that God’s heart is for all the peoples of the earth – a task we are called to cooperate with, a task too important to mess up.
  2. OCT. 5-7: House Party 2012 “Possessed by God – the Holy Spirit”. With a great speaker like Phil Nicholson and a top rate venue like Stanwell Tops we look forward to an excellent weekend away together. A great opportunity to relax and fellowship with people from both English services. Please keep Oct 5-7 free.
  3. As part of his preparation for long term mission work in Japan, Pastor Andrew Wong will be visiting, sharing and preaching and at a variety of other churches to share about the Gospel needs of Japan. As a result he will occasionally be missing from WSCCC on Sundays. If you are interested to know more, please feel free to ask Andrew, Joanna or any of the deacons.
  4. Children Sunday School Announcement: End of the school term is getting closer. Sunday School Holiday Program – 1, 8 and 15 July. The Holiday program is also an exciting chance for us to experience what our children have been doing. It is a chance to be involved in our kids’ life. Be a helper in the Sunday School Holiday Program.
