Bulletin Announcements – 27 May 2012

  1. Today: WSCCC baptism service will be held today at 12.30 pm, after the Mandarin service. 23 people from the 3 congregations will be baptised, publicly declaring their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and their allegiance to Him. Come along and encourage them by your presence.   Thank God for them, and pray for their ongoing growth in the Lord.
  2. NEXT WEEK: JUNE is Missions Month! Don’t miss out on our special services. Connecting with WS missionaries, special guests, stories, new songs and a whole lot more. Right here @ 9am starting on 3rd June. Pastor Andrew Wong will kick off the month with a sermon titled ‘Making a Mess of Missions’.
  3. OCT. 5-7: House Party 2012 “Possessed by God – the Holy Spirit”. With a great speaker like Phil Nicholson and a top rate venue like Stanwell Tops we look forward to an excellent weekend away together. A great opportunity to relax and fellowship with people from both English services. Please keep Oct 5-7 free.
  4. As part of his preparation for long term mission work in Japan, Pastor Andrew Wong will be visiting, sharing and preaching and at a variety of other churches to share about the Gospel needs of Japan. As a result he will occasionally be missing from WSCCC on Sundays. If you are interested to know more, please feel free to ask Andrew, Joanna or any of the deacons.
  5. The Cantonese Men’s Fellowship will hold a public meeting on the Life Journey of Men to explore the challenges faced by men at different stages of their life. All men of different ages are welcome to participate. The group for the single men will be conducted in English but the rest will be in Cantonese. Rev. Law will also give a short talk. Date: 03-06-2012; Time: 1:30–4:00pm; Place: upper hall WSCCC. Refreshment will be provided.
