On the church lawn. Cost: Items from $1 to $5. All profits will go towards upgrading the stair railings for our church. Come and support us and your hungry stomachs!
  4. Want to find out what your children have been up to? Can’t wait until the school’s Parent/Teacher night? The Stick leaders cordially invite you and your family to join us for lunch (12:30pm – 2pm) on Sunday 25th March, in the Sunday School Hall. Contrary to popular belief, this is not the typical embarrassing Parent/Teacher meeting! Rather, as part of serving at Stick, we believe that parents are valuable to our ministry in helping youth learn about and treasure Jesus. We would love to get to know you better, as well as to thank, encourage and inform you about the kinds of things we do at Stick each week. If possible, please bring a dish!
  5. Have you committed your life to Jesus? Have you considered getting baptised as an outward sign of what has happened inwardly? On May 27 there will be a baptism service. Please contact Pastor Andrew Wong if you would be interested to attend baptism classes. Note that places are filling up fast, so please contact Andrew ASAP.
  6. WSCCC will be involved with Surry Hills Urban Mission for April and September this year. Are you interested in Gospel opportunities revolving around food, drink and conversation amongst the poor and marginalised around Central Railway station? Are you looking for ministry that might put you well outside of your comfort zone? Are you free on Tuesday nights in April? Please contact Lei Liang (email) or Pastor Andrew Wong. Note that all new participants must attend an info night held in late March (date/time is flexible). Also note that this is a ministry opportunity that is particular well suited to older men and women.
  7. Advance Notice: S9 & CP11 Weekend Away, October 5-7!! (not 7-9). Keep the dates free to come and be built up in Christ. Awesome venue: Stanwell Tops. Gifted speaker: Phil Nicholson. Meet new friends from both English congregations!
  8. CP9 will have their last service at Croydon Park today, and will have their first service at Five Dock Public School, 33 Henry Street, Five Dock on 15th March 2012 at 9am under the name of Sydney Chinese Gospel Church. They will have their dedication service on 29th April 2012 at 2pm. Please continue to uphold their ministry in our prayers.
  9. We are thankful that last Sunday’s EGM regarding the motion: “call Liza Mihardja as a part time 2.5 days per week Children Ministry Coordinator of WSCCC. Her term will be 1 year renewable” was passed with over 99 % of the 127 votes.
