35 years of wsccc
In November 2013, WSCCC celebrated its 35th year anniversary.
We celebrated with a combined Sunday Service (see the above picture) and a Chinese banquet (what else?)
So what do we celebrate at 35 years? Well, we at least celebrate these things
- God who maintains and grows his church
- God who privileges us with the responsibility of serving his church
- God’s gospel which really is Good News to those who hear, believe and follow Jesus
But we also look forward to wherever God wants to take WSCCC. Maybe some of God’s exciting plans for WSCCC include
- a fresh new generation of Christians who know and love Jesus
- being a blessing to our neighbours at Strathfield and Croydon Park
- raising up leaders who can spread God’s Good News locally and overseas
It’s been a great 35 years, but God doesn’t want us only to look back, he wants us to look forward to the next adventure he has for us. There will be pain as well as joy, tears as well as laughter, and setbacks as well as encouragements. But whatever happens, we know that God is in control, and he will always give us the strength that we need to follow his plan for us.
