Bulletin Announcements – 24 November 2013

‘GOD WITH US’ is the theme for our Christmas events this year. This is a great time to share the love of Christ with our family, friends and community.

Children Ministry Announcement: Quiz Worx’s puppet show is coming to us today. The show is titled “The Saviour of the World.” There will be 2 performances: 9am at our English service and 10.30am in Sunday school hall.

Today: Baptism service will be held today at 12.30 pm. 13 people will be baptised, publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ. Come along and encourage them. Names are: English: Cathy Su, Amos Tan, Judy Xu; Cantonese: Carmen Chow, Tak Ming Ho, Hok Lan Hon, Shiu Chung Lee; Mandarin: Dong Bo, Juan Dai, Ying Jiang, Ming Dao Lin, Ping Ye, Hai Xia Zhang.

NextGen 2014 (13th-17th January) – Join the group from WS and be trained and equipped as Christian leaders to serve in children’s and youth ministry! Rego is now open – please see Courtney Law if you are interested in coming along or would like more details.

Team Zambia is a group of 10 people from English 9am service who will be heading to serve in a short term mission in Zambia in partnership with SIM. Please be praying for them as they prepare to go in January 2014. For more information : https://facebook.com/wscccteamzambia.

Rainbow Keung from our Mandarin Congregation has been accepted by the Diaconate as a Short Term Missionary of the church for a 2 year term with GO International, serving in Northern Thailand. Over the next few weeks, Rainbow will be sharing about what she will be doing in our various congregations. Please keep Rainbow in prayer as she prepares for this work.
