Easter in the Park – Saturday 23rd March 11am Burwood Park – a special event organised by local churches in conjunction with Burwood Council to celebrate the meaning of Easter. Please join the celebration for stage entertainment, featuring local community groups, marching bands and children’s entertainment plus face painters, petting zoo, jumping castles and all time favourites Easter egg hunt and Easter hat parade.
In March, on Sunday mornings, our sermon series is called “Words that Change Me”. Come and hear Mark Boyley speak God’s word to us from 1 John in the Bible. Talks are available for download on the church website wsccc.org.au/s9new/.
Ariel and Kirsty Kurilowicz – It has been 6 months since the accident, thank God for how far they have come. There is still a long road ahead. Thank God that relationships in the spinal unit have been easier. Continue praying for healing. Please pray for Kirsty as they prepare for Ariel’s return home (which will involve much organisation and many agencies) – particularly for energy and efficiency in the process. Pray for Ariel’s family, for his parents who have some health issues at the moment. Pray for meaningful and encouraging conversations within the family.
