Bulletin Announcements – 4 November 2012

“Baking Up Christmas” is a fun event organised by the Strathfield 9am Ladies Fellowship for Saturday 24th November from 2.00 to 4.30pm. Come and make, bake and decorate gingerbread cookies. Children and visitors are invited as well. Tickets are on sale now – $5.00/adult; $2.50/child. Afternoon tea will be provided.

Join the women of CroydonPark@10 for an evening of fun and food with Masterchef 2011 winner, Kate Bracks! Kate will give cooking demonstrations and share about her experiences on Masterchef.  Hear about what she craves in life and how her deepest longings have been satisfied in knowing God.  Cost is $10 per person.  Spaces are limited so those inviting non-Christian friends will get priority.   Please see Angie Shum for invites or to book your seat.  For more information, please email Jackie Yip at samandjac@gmail.com.  Hope to see you there!

Rev Ariel Kurilowicz: Ariel has settled well into the Rehabilitation hospital at Ryde. He appreciates the more relaxed environment and enjoys his visits from family and friends. Please pray:

  • For God to uphold him in body and spirit.
  • For healing and recovery.
    • Thank God for so much love and support from so many, esp. Kirsty’s mother Pam who has been living with Kirsty and helping with the kids since the accident.
    • That God would continue to bless and build up His church in love through this experience. May we grow as we serve. May we increase in faithfulness, love and care.

Ariel has now moved to room 7a if you are planning to visit. For visiting please contact Lydia Tan (lltan@iprimus.com.au) to arrange a time. It is better not to visit on Sunday as Ariel needs a rest as well – he has a much busier week now with gym and other appointments each day.
