  2. SIMaid: 1.2 million children are trafficked worldwide for sexual exploitation. Girls off the Streets is a campaign that SIMaid is running to support projects which help rescue and care for young women who are trafficked in to prostitution in Bangladesh and India (www.simaid.org.au/girls). Roger and Hiroko Seth are visiting Australia and speaking at events (North Sydney-11th May) to share about their experience as leaders of an after-care home for sex trafficking survivors.   3. Equip Women is on May 19 at Darling Harbour. Register at www.equip.org.au for a great day of teaching and spiritual encouragement.
  4. The WSCCC baptism service will be held on May 27.  News from CP11: they are conducting their baptisms today — Holly Xia and the Koo family (David, Yean, Tanya, Tammy and Terry) will be baptised. This act demonstrates their commitment to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. It is a wet way of saying ‘I’m a Christian’!
  5. As part of his preparation for long term mission work in Japan, Pastor Andrew Wong will be visiting, sharing and preaching and at a variety of other churches to share about the Gospel needs of Japan. As a result he will be occasionally be missing from WSCCC on Sundays. If you are interested to know more, please feel free to ask Andrew, Joanna or any of the deacons.
