Online service, 28th June
Welcome to our CP10 service online
We’re glad that you’ve joined our service today! Please contact our Pastor, Chadd Hafer, if you have any prayer requests or feedback from our online service, or leave a comment at the end of our service.
Songs of worship
Let’s begin in worship at home by ourselves, with family or with friends by declaring how we need God as our foundation. A powerful lyrics in this song, applicable to 2020, is “when I soar through realms unknown, bow before the judgement throne, hide me then my refuge be, rock of ages cleft for me” – this year has thrown many curveballs and unknown unknowns to us, but the one thing that remains constant is God’s presence, and God’s provision to us.
During missions month, we not only examine how we should spread God’s word, but also why – and the reason why some of us dedicate our lives to sharing the gospel is due to God’s immeasurable love. If we’ve received it, we’d of course want others to know God’s love.

Bible reading & sermon
Our Bible passage today is taken from the Gospel of Matthew (28:16-20)
Matthew 28:16-20 (audio)
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Response and reflection
In response to Georgie’s sermon, this song encourages us to spread God’s word everywhere – instead of people “calling this place their home,” we should tell them how our home is with Christ.
The video does not have lyrics.
You can play the youtube audio in the background whilst you read the lyrics below.
