Covid-19 Update

As you are aware, our nation’s response to the threat of Covid-19 and the situation we face has been rapidly changing.

See our church Covid-19 update page here.

THIS SUNDAY 22ND MARCH 2020

Online Church Only: Will Launch at 4:30pm

Due to the restrictions on public gatherings, our usual church services on site cannot go ahead.

As an interim measure, to address this crisis, we are providing a way to do church at home online:

  • You can join us for church at home via our new Youtube channel – it will be happening on Sunday 22nd March at 4:30pm. Or you can do church at home with an interactive service outline.  Both will be available via our website:
  • We encourage you to do church at home with others to encourage each other –
    • together as a family
    • together with friends
    • or with others over a video, call or chat

Children

We are suspending Children’s ministry for three weeks.  A Sunday School PowerPoint activity will be sent out for parents to go through with children at home.  The Children’s Ministry will continue to keep parents informed.

Youth

Glue will run on Friday 20th but Stick will move online for Sunday 22nd March. Both will be online next week Friday 27th & Sunday 29th March.  The Youth Ministry will send out details to the parents and provide update on plans as time goes on.

SMALL GROUPS

Small Groups may be able to meet together if they can satisfy the requirements. Small Groups and their leaders will make appropriate decisions so they can be both safe and supportive. Each group will come to their own position. Groups may meet online only, together in person if appropriate, or a mix of people meeting online and in person.

MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER

We are in this together, and we trust in God, who is sovereign over all things, to lead us forward together in Christ.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. Psalms 46:1-2

At this time of crisis we have confidence in God through all things.

And God calls us to be a people who share His love in every situation.

The Lord Jesus said,

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35

Through this crisis, let’s be people who share God’s love with others.

Church ministry leaders are working hard to analyse all the information and make the best decisions to love and care for everyone.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and we will respond to developments as they arise, and provide updates as needed.
