Bulletin Announcements – 10 September 2017

  • Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Gift: This is an annual event where items and gifts for children can be received and the work of local evangelism can be conducted in churches around the world. If you are interested to participate in this, please collect a brochure from the back of the church hall which have the details of the items and gifts to put in the shoebox and a small contribution towards the cost of transporting them overseas. Participants will need to supply their own shoeboxes as there is now an additional cost in purchasing cardboard shoeboxes from the Samaritans Purse. Please return the shoeboxes to the English service by Sunday 24 September where they will be delivered to the collection centre.

  • Ladies Fellowship Event:  “Witnessing for Jesus” Please join us as we think through how to witness for Jesus in various stages of life with 3 experienced panellists! When:  Sunday 24th September 2017, 10:30am-12pm. Please indicate your interest and if you are able to bring something to share for morning tea to Jocelyn Lin (jocelynL@optusnet.com.au). For more details, please contact Betty Wong or Courtney Law.

  • Baptism Classes: Baptism is an outward sign (washed by water) of an inward reality (washed by Jesus’ blood from sin). Therefore, if you love and trust in the Lord Jesus as your Saviour but have not yet been baptised I invite you to attend our Baptism Classes starting on the 1st of October.
