Bulletin Announcements – 4 December 2016
· Play Group invites children 5 years and under, together with their parents to join us in Christmas Celebration: Happy Birthday Jesus! It will be on Tuesday, 6 December, 10am-12.30pm. Please join us in crafts, songs, story, play and lunch. This will be our last meeting of 2016. We are excited to celebrate with you!
· Sunday school will have our End of the year celebration on 11 December which is also our last day of the year. On 18 December, we will have Christmas activities scheduled in place of Sunday school class.
· CPM will be having a special baptismal service today. The service will start at 12:30pm and will be at CP10 hall. The baptism candidates are: Kin Ling Tong, Jessica Peng, Si Qi Xue and Owen Wang.
· Announcement from the Diaconate: Notice is hereby given to all members to attend an Extraordinary General Meeting on 11th December 2016 at 12:30pm at the Strathfield Chapel of the church to vote on the following two motions:
(1): To appoint Fiona Fung as a part-time deaconess (50%) of the church, serving at the Cantonese congregations. Her initial term will be 2 years and renewable.
(2): To appoint Jonty Perret as a part-time (2 days a week) Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Croydon Park (CP10). His initial term will be 1 year and renewable.
Information about the background of both Fiona Fung and Jonty Perret is available on the separate insert in the bulletin. Proxy voting forms will be available from any deacons or ministers. The final date for the return of proxy forms is Friday, 9th December 2016 at 12:30pm.
