  • CM Announcement: Term 1 2015 will start today for Sunday school and 3 February 2015 for Play Group. Please drop your children on time and pick up promptly. Please keep the traffic away from Sunday School area during Sunday School time to help our kids learning more about God.

  • Starting this week over the month of February we will have special series thinking about the topic of life and asking some of the big questions that many of us will consider at some point in our lives. Sam Chan will be speaking and this will be a great opportunity to invite your friends and family.
  • From February, the Wednesday nights church prayer meeting (8:00pm) will be led by the pastors and various deacons on roster. There will be some changes in the format: first 15-20 minutes will be led by the chairperson on Bible sharing or introducing selected church ministry (or sharing by invited guest), then followed by prayer for the sharing/the church ministry mentioned. This session will be carried out in both Chinese and English. For the following 30-40 minutes, participants will be divided into smaller groups according to language and pray for various church ministries and needs. We encourage brothers and sisters to join this church prayer meeting and to support church ministries by prayers.

February Friends: Conversations Over Coffee

If you’re here for the first time because a friend brought you along, or you want to know more about Christianity, or you’re just curious to know what all the buzz is about well we’re glad you’re here and I’m sure you’ll enjoy our February Friends services. Being in church for the first time can feel exciting but daunting, energising yet strange; all of that is quite normal I assure you. Church you see is where God’s people get together to hear God speak. Also, to praise, thank, and confess to him so exciting things are bound to happen. During our February Friends services especially we want to explain to everyone why Jesus is the answer to our deepest needs and why following him really works. After the service today you might still have some questions about Christianity. If you do we invite you to come to “The Coffee Box” in Strathfield Plaza straight after our service at 10.40am where you can continue asking these questions in a relaxed atmosphere and by the way, the coffee is on us!
