Welcome to strathfield 9am. We’re glad you could be with us today. Our speaker today is Mark Boyley, who will continue to sermon series in the “I am..” statements of John’s Gospel. His sermon is entitled “I am the Vine”.
Faith Promise Giving – We must give thanks to God for the great response last week. We have so far received 172 returned slips totalling to $191,857 in the Faith Promise Giving. This promised amount has well exceeded the original $160,000 target for Faith Promise Giving (designated missionary offerings) and it will make a significant contribution to this year’s total mission budget of $238,000 (the remaining amount to be transferred from the general offering). Please continue to pray that God will enable us to fulfil our promises in supporting our missionaries. Faith Promise Giving may be placed in the weekly offering bags using the white or brown Mission Offering envelopes available on the ushers desk of each chapel or hall. Please continue to pray that God will enable us to provide the amounts we have promised.

Baptism Classes: Baptism classes will commence on the 1st September in preparation for baptism in November. Classes will be held for 6 consecutive Sundays. For those who would like to be baptised in November, please see Chee Yee.
