Bulletin Announcements – 27 January 2013

Next week our   special ‘Dear God’ series of talks   begin. Sam Chan will be giving a short talk on the question ‘Dear God… How do   I know you exist?’ and there will be plenty of time for you to ask questions   also. Come along and bring friends and family you feel would enjoy it also.

Today in our   service we will re-commission the Nicholsons for continued missionary service   in Taiwan with OMF International. It is 21 years since they first went out!

The Kohs   and the Nicholsons will be leaving Sydney soon as our missionaries in   Taiwan. There will be a farewell lunch for them today 12:30pm in the upper hall. Please come along to encourage   them and bring some food to share.

Commissioning   Service for Kohs this afternoon (2pm). Please join us straight after lunch   in the upper hall at Strathfield for the commissioning service for the Koh   family, as they begin their missionary service in Taiwan with OMF. Please   join in in praying for this family and sending them out in the name of Jesus   Christ, Lord of the Nations.

Children   Ministry Announcement:Term 1 2013,   Sunday school will start on 3 February 2013. Please enroll your children by   filling in the form today between   10-10.30am or 12-12.30pm in the Sunday School Hall. Play Group will start 5   February 2013.

Glue starts on the 1st of February,   Glue – 7:30pm on Friday nights in the upper hall.

Stick starts on the 10th of   February, Stick – 10:30am Sunday at strathfield girls high school.

Follow Me – MKC2013:   In a busy world, it’s a great   opportunity for men to stop and remind ourselves who we should be following.   Jesus calls us, not just to believe in him, but to go even   further – to follow him. What does it mean to follow   Jesus? What does “being Christ-like” really look like?  Are you doing that in your daily life? An invitation to Strathfield 9am men of   all ages to join us at MKC 1-2 March 2013.
