Please pray and invite your friends to celebrate Easter with us. Let’s prepare our hearts as we reconsider our life priorities in light of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Let your friends know that Jesus is of first importance in your life. Let your friends know that Jesus should be of first importance in their lives too.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Today is the last meeting for Term 1. Recommence for Term 2 on 29 April. Sunday School Holiday Program – 8, 15 and 22 April. The Holiday program is also an exciting chance for us as a church to experience what our children have been doing. It is a chance to be involved in our kids’ life. Be a helper in the Sunday School Holiday Program. Contact: Liza Mihardja (0406363067), Loy Yew Wong, Ley Wan Tio or Jandy Ling.

Due to the Easter long weekend, the next Church Working Bee (normally on the first Saturday of the month) will be moved to the 14th of of April. If you’re not afraid of a bit of hard work, and would love to eat some of Auntie Rosie’s fantastic food, please come along and help serve one another in this very practical ministry.

15th April: The Induction Service for Rev Ariel Kurilowicz and Rev Anna Zhang will be held on the 15th of April 2:00PM at our church (Strathfield). Rev Ming Leung (Dean of CTCA) will be the speaker. Please come and join us to thank God for this joyful occasion.

As part of his preparation for long term mission work in Japan, Pastor Andrew Wong will be visiting, sharing and preaching and at a variety of other churches to share about the Gospel needs of Japan. As a result he will be occasionally be missing from WSCCC on Sundays. If you are interested to know more, please feel free to ask Andrew, Joanna or any of the deacons.

The Fund-Raising food stall last Sunday was a big success. The Ladies’ Fellowship Committee would like to thank everyone who participated: all those who made contributions of food as well as those who bought and ate the food. The amount of $892 that was raised will go towards the payment for the new stair railings that have already been installed.
