Current Ministry Job Vacancies

About us

WSCCC is an evangelical independent church spread across 7 services, conducted in 3 languages (English, Mandarin and Cantonese). The services are located in two campuses based in inner-west Sydney (Strathfield and Croydon Park).

Strathfield English has two Sunday services – 9am and 4:30pm. Croydon English has one Sunday service at 10am. All three are growing, energetic, multicultural, cross-generational congregations.

We seek to maintain a tradition of strong Biblical teaching through our Sunday services as well as our associated ministries. Our congregation has a culture of being committed to serving and training in ministry.

Our outreach is both local and global. Although part of a Chinese church we are open to people of all backgrounds and in touch with contemporary Australian society.

We are currently on the look out for an English congregation pastor, youth pastor and children’s ministry coordinator. See below for details.

  • Funerals

Involvement in wider church (WSCCC):

  • Participate in Diaconate and pastoral meetings, providing spiritual guidance as minister
  • Attend and contribute to inter-congregation ministries and events

Meetings to attend:

There will be, on average, one evening meeting each week:

  • Diaconate meeting (once per month – evening)
  • Pastoral team & English pastoral team meetings (weekly – during the day)
  • Mission committee meeting (once per month – evening)
  • English Worship Committee meeting – EWC meeting (once per month – evening)
