CroydonPark@10 is an English congregation of West Sydney Chinese Christian Church (WSCCC), a non-denominational independent evangelical church.

With an original 5pm service at Strathfield struggling to grow, the WSCCC leadership made the bold decision to take this congregation in a new direction. In 2005, a new English congregation at a new location and timeslot was formed.

This English congregation at Croydon Park experienced remarkable growth in the early years. From a group of 35 attendees to a congregation of 90+ people, we outgrew the original facilities at 55 Boyle St, Croydon Park within a year. By God’s blessing and perfect timing, we were able to re-locate to larger premises at 49a Boyle St, Croydon Park, which is where we now call ‘home’.

For the first 3 years, biblical teaching and guidance was provided by the Advisory Minister, Rev Dr Bruce Dipple, who was also then the Head of the School of Cross Cultural Mission at the nearby Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Rev Mark Boyley and his family faithfully served the congregation for 5 years from 2008 before returning to MBM St Alban’s Anglican Rooty Hill, where he first began his ministry training. Since 2014, Chadd Hafer was appointed the full-time minister to our congregation. Chadd is a graduate of Moore Theological College and previously pastored at Grace Community (Springwood), Springwood Baptist, and Darling Street Anglican Churches.

From the beginning, we have had a strong ethos of every member of the congregation serving in ministry. Through this passionate commitment from members and by God’s grace, CroydonPark@10 (formerly ‘cp11’) was formed and has continued to grow to the community it is today.
