Welcome lunch for the Nicholsons – Sunday Sept 30

Dear friends,

Just a reminder that this Sunday (Sep 30), we will be holding a welcome home lunch for our missionary family, the Nicholsons (Phil and Irene, with Zac (and Tricia sort of) and Ben). It will be at 12:30pm at WSCCC Strathfield as a combined congregations’ act of unity. As a “pot luck” lunch, please bring a dish of food to share (or buy something from somewhere).

This will be a great chance to express our support and affirm this family who have been missionaries in Taiwan, in the name of God and in the name of us, our church, for over 20 years now. We heard a great word of encouragement through Phil’s preaching on Sunday as well as Irene’s sharing. Now we can show our appreciation and encourage them in return.

So please join us for the lunch this Sunday!
