• RICE Rally is a youth evangelistic event that is happening on the 18th August. They are looking for volunteers to be an advisor. The main role of an advisor is to counsel new Christians or recommitted Christians on the night of Rally when they respond to the gospel. Advisors will receive training on how to walk youth through the gospel and lead them to Jesus. Please contact Daniel Chieng on dan.wsccc@gmail.com or 0408 124884 for more information if you’re interested.

• WELLNESS: On Saturday 30 June 2018 from 2pm-4:30pm, Ladies Fellowship is hosting an evangelistic afternoon centred around mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. This is a great opportunity to invite your friends to this wonderful event filled with conversations, a fun DIY activity and a delicious afternoon tea. Our special guest, Karen Pang, will also be sharing her testimony including her battle with mental health. Tickets are $15 and available on the lawn after the service.

• Combined Prayer Meeting is on Wednesday 6th of June 8pm-9pm. Every two months one of our WS congregations runs a church-wide prayer meeting to pray for our whole church and the wider world. Our Cantonese brothers and sister will run our next prayer meeting in the Strathfield upper hall. It is an encouraging meeting to go to.

• Following the EGM (20May), the members of the church voted with a majority of 96.6% to accept the motion to send Matthew and Jennifer Lim as long-term missionaries of the church to Japan, through the Church Missionary Society (CMS). Please pray for them as they prepare their family for their departure (probably in August). Their commissioning service will be on Saturday, July 7.

• To God be the glory . . . He blessed a thanksgiving dinner, organized by the Omega Care Group which raised $12,820 for the Church Development Plan (CDP) Fund, last weekend. There were 98 adults and 12 children at the dinner. How good is the God we adore. We continue to honour, praise and thank Him.
