• Baptism Classes: Baptism is a physical outward expression of a spiritual inward reality; that you’ve decided to trust and follow Jesus. So if this is you and you’re wanting to be baptised later in May this year our Baptism Classes are starting on March 18th – NEXT WEEK! Please let any of our pastors know you’d like to be baptised.
• All parents of Stick Youth are invited for lunch today at Strathfield Sunday School Hall 1-3pm. There will be a time of sharing, fun, fellowship, meeting the leaders and delicious food!
• On Sunday 15th April 2018, WSCCC will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a combined church service and dinner. We are inviting musicians amongst us to participate in playing in a string ensemble/quartet at the commencement of the dinner. Please contact Ruth Choong on 0404 872410 for more detail by today.
• Welcome Home Lunch for Andrew, Jo, Emily and Hannah Wong (our missionaries in Japan) will be held at Strathfield on March 18 at 12:30pm. Please come along to have some great fellowship over lunch and to hear about their ministry in Japan. Please bring along food to share with others.
• Induction service for pastors Billy Lee and Daniel Chieng: Sunday 25 March, 1:30pm in the Strathfield chapel. Please save the date.
• Please come and join us in celebrating WSCCC 40th Anniversary on Sunday 15th April 2018. A combined service will be held at Trinity Grammar School, Summer Hill at 9.30am. A thanksgiving dinner will be held in the evening at Rhodes Phoenix Chinese Restaurant, Rhodes at 6.30pm. Tickets for dinner is on sales from today. Please see Merv Yee or Jim Ip for tickets and enquiries. Tickets are limited, so please get in early!!
• This year GlueStick youths will be attending KYCK, a conference for high schoolers. Each year, hundreds of young people respond to God’s saving grace in Jesus and are challenged to live for Him in the world. The weekend will be jam-packed with bible talks, worship music, games, and fellowship! Last day of registration is 25th March so you don’t want to miss out! Date: 20/4/18-22/4/18. • Circle of Security Parenting Program with Dr Yixin Jiang Xu (PhD University of Sydney) will run for 6 sessions on Saturday mornings from April 21st. The course focuses on understanding your child’s emotional needs and building a loving, secure relationship. Free for members of our church. See the flyer for details or call 02 9211 9988.
• A reminder to everyone to please park legally and considerately to our neighbours when coming to church. Please obey the street signs, especially the legal parking hours, and allow adequate space around driveways. Council rangers may book offenders at any time.
