If God is so loving…why?

 

Why why why do things happen that don’t make sense? And why do things not happen that would make sense? It seems God is out of touch, that he doesn’t really understand our situation, or that he hasn’t planned very well. Can God give answers that can satisfy our “why”?

 

Popular conference speaker, Dr Sam Chan, from the City Bible Forum, and former lecturer at SMBC will speak on the following Sundays at 9am:

February 14  Why are religious people jerks?

February 21  Why doesn’t God make himself more obvious?

About the February Friends services:

These services are held every year in February during our regular 9am English services. Both Christians and non-Christians, weekly regulars and one-off guests come together to hear talks that are relevant to our present world and culture.

 

Our services are held in the church upper hall Cnr Homebush Rd & Alviston St, Strathfield (West Sydney Chinese Christian Church).
